Subly
Subscription tracking app
Hey Indie Hackers! 👋
I'm excited (and a bit nervous) to share my first product launch with this community: Subly - a subscription tracker that helps you stop losing money to renewals you forgot about.
The Problem That Hit My Wallet
Like many of you, I'm juggling multiple subscriptions - SaaS tools, streaming services, gym memberships, you name it. Last year, I realized I'd lost over $200 to subscriptions I meant to cancel but completely forgot about. That frustrating moment became my motivation to build Subly.
What Subly Does
Subly is designed for busy professionals who don't have time to manually track every subscription. Here's what it offers:
Smart reminders before subscriptions renew (so you can cancel what you don't need)
Spending analytics to see where your money is actually going
Multi-currency support for international subscriptions
Categories to organize your subscriptions
Email notifications so you never miss a renewal
The Tech Stack
For the developers here, I kept it lean and cost-effective:
Frontend: React + TypeScript + Vite
Backend: Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Functions, Hosting)
Payments: Lemon Squeezy
Email: Resend + Firebase Extension
Monitoring: Sentry
DNS: Namecheap
Current monthly cost for ~1,000 users: $0-30 (plus payment processing fees). Pretty sustainable!
Where I'm At
Just launched and actively looking for early users. I'm a solo founder and this is a learn-as-I-go journey. I'd love feedback on literally everything - the UX, pricing strategy, features, onboarding flow, you name it.
Special Offer for IH Community
I'm offering 50% off for early adopters who want to give Subly a try and help shape the product.

Would love to hear your thoughts! Have you lost money to forgotten subscriptions? What features would make a subscription tracker actually useful for you?
Thanks for reading, and appreciate any feedback! 🙏
About
I built Subly after realizing how much money disappears through forgotten subscriptions. The goal is simple: make subscriptions visible, manageable, and easy to cancel.
