Hello 👋

I’m so excited (and a little nervous!) to finally share Subly with the community today.

Like most solopreneurs here, I rely on Stripe to handle my payments. But let’s be honest—trying to track real business growth inside their default dashboard is a headache. Massive spikes from annual plans completely distort your monthly charts, currency fluctuations make your revenue look erratic, and trying to spot a pending churn before it happens feels close to impossible.

I got tired of the data noise and just wanted clean, actionable numbers. So, I built Subly.

You connect your Stripe account using a secure, read-only API key, and in less than 60 seconds, it strips away the clutter. It isolates your true MRR, tracks pending churn in real-time, and smooths out those annual spikes so you always know exactly where your business stands. No vanity metrics—just honest growth data.

🛠️ I really need your feedback to make this better!

Subly is in its early stages, and as a solo builder, I can’t improve it without your help. I want your brutally honest feedback. What features are missing? Did you spot any layout bugs? What metric do you wish you could see? Please tear it apart and tell me what to fix—your insights will literally shape the product roadmap.

🚀 Join the Alpha 10 Squad:

I am looking for exactly 10 data-driven solopreneurs to stress-test Subly, try to break the dashboard with their Stripe data, and tell me exactly what features to build next. To make it worth your time, the first 10 founders who connect their read-only key and shoot me a quick email right here saying "Found you on Product Hunt" will get 2 months completely free to track their metrics.

I’ll be hanging out in the comments all day to answer questions, log bug reports, and chat about revenue metrics. Thank you for the support! 🚀

The part I'd probably pressure-test isn't the accuracy of the numbers.

It's what founders actually do differently once they have them.

A dashboard can be extremely clear and still leave the next decision surprisingly ambiguous.

I'd be curious which actions your best users start taking more confidently after using it.

You’re 100% right, a clear chart doesn't automatically equal a clear next step.

Right now, the immediate confidence boost is in accurate budgeting, knowing your real MRR so you don't overspend based on seasonal annual plan spikes.

But I want to take it a step further. If you were looking at a dashboard that accurately isolated your metrics, what is the one automated alert or call-to-action it could give you that would make you say, 'Okay, I know exactly what I need to do next'?"

Honestly, I'd be careful answering that too quickly.

I've seen founders build alerts around the action they expect users to take, only to discover later that the real value was helping users make a completely different decision with more confidence.

That's what makes me hesitate here.

The alert itself is probably less important than understanding which decision users are actually hiring the product to help them make.

Hard to do that properly in a thread though.

If you're interested, drop your email and I'll send you the longer version.

About

I built Subly because I hated how messy it is to track real SaaS growth inside Stripe. Annual plan spikes completely distort your monthly charts, and currency shifts hide actual revenue trends.
