October 8, 2022 Refreshed our landing page design + added new features to the dashboard!

We gave our landing page (and the dashboard) a little face lift to make it look more modern. We also added a big feature that lets you use our dashboard to easily add endpoints that will be triggered for a selection of PayPal events to automate all kinds of things in your backend! You can find it under the 'Webhooks' tab in the dashboard.

I find your approach to getting clients by creating a component for bubble and launching it on Zapier very interesting, did it get you any clients so far?

By the way, the community of app builder Adalo maybe also wants a PayPal component.

Yes, we have gained clients so far! Most of the clients we have are actually not using Bubble. You also don't really need the Bubble plugin to use SubSocket, but it definitely does make it easier! Our plugin does have quite some installs, so I am sure it helped attracting potential customers!

January 18, 2021 Our Bubble plugin is live!

As a Bubble user, I love that plugins can make integrations so much faster. That I decided to create a Bubble plugin for SubSocket. This makes implementing PayPal payments via SubSocket even easier! I also wrote a step-by-step documentation going through all the steps to get new users started.

OMG, I've just seen your "Multipurpose Startup Pack" template - it gets better ;-)

Basically @Thimo I am about to start building a directory of cool resources for startups, that will be paid-for.

As a developer I could build it myself, but I am short of time at the moment and want to get something up quickly. So then I was going to go for a simple Airtable, but they are so ugly ;-)

And then I remembered Bubble. I have not used it but I am sure I can learn it fairly quickly. Then I saw it has templates already done, including yours - amazing!!

So for example your "startups directory/listing" looks perfect for me, but you have others so I am not sure which is the best - perhaps you can guide me.

Also, as I am new to Bubble I still haven't explored the features - the main thing I am curious about is - does it come with a database built in or do I have to connect it to my own external data source? I assume it is all built in, so with your template do you provide all of the data structure ready to go?

Do you also provide a form for entry of all my data, or does Bubble provide data management screens?

I am thinking of having a simple Carrd home page to promote it, with a Stripe payment option. And then for new purchases I will create an account in Bubble for each user. So the user must login to see the directory. Does your template support user login?

I look forward to your feedback and then I will get cracking on it - another IH project gets started and it will be great to use a fellow IH'ers product ;-)

hey @thimo, I am about to build a resource for startups and love your Bubble templates/plugins which I am sure to buy. Would love to have an online chat to make sure I'm using the right bits...

January 15, 2021 Our Zapier integration got approved!

After weeks of waiting, our Zapier got approved today! This will allow you to connect 2000+ apps to your PayPal integration without a single line of code. At this moment we have support for 4 different triggers, which are: 'Subscription is created', 'Subscription is changed', 'Subscription is cancelled', and 'Transaction is created'.
