I ran a repo-to-strategy tool on 26 of the most popular repos of all time.

The reaosn I built the tool is becasue I keep meeting builders with five or six things sitting in Github repos that would genuinely help somebody, and none of them actually get off the shelf and into the hands of users.

Not because the code is bad. Because nobody has the capacity to run five separate businesses.

So I wondered if we gave any builder the ability to give their Github codebase an autonomous workforce of AI agents that mentor, hire, fire, and collaborate with each other to take out all the pieces of running a business that they don't want...what would happen? What would happen if you could run five companies at once and still only work 40 hours per week?

Before we launched this tool, Surveyor, I pointed our tool at 26 repos. Mostly well known ones, plus a lot of smaller ones. It reads a public repo and writes a strategy dossier for it. I expected the reports to be all over the place, but it actually worked and I wanted to pass it on.

Public repo in, dossier out, and the dossier is yours either way. If you want to go further, it becomes the starting context for an AI workforce of atoms that runs the marketing, sales and operations around the product.

One boundary note...small single-purpose repos are where this currently falls short. It needs enough surface to build a full recommendation, and two of our last five live runs came back short. If yours does that, tell me what it said.
