April 1, 2020 Pivoted to e-commerce for local businesses

I was getting traction in the charity sector when the Covid-19 thing happened and everything imploded. I pivoted to helping local businesses deliver to local people. I decided to add e-commerce capability to my advertising system. I walked into a local shop and the owner said he wanted to use the system. At last I am in the position of writing code for a customer rather than writing code and hoping I have a customer.

March 1, 2020 Pivoted to Local Charities

I worked out that schools would take much too long to make decisions and I needed cash flow now. I pivoted to giving local charities the ability to easily sell sponsorships to local businesses. I found a brilliant charity founder and worked with her. I learnt that having even one customer who is genuinely interested in your business provides a lot of validation.

November 1, 2019 Launched Support My School

I now using the same codebase for CryptoStar.money and Support My School. My technology stack is Git, VSCode, Formidable Forms , WordPress and I use GoodSync and WinSCP for deployment. It is all working nicely. My next task is to do some Google PPC and see if I get any interest.

October 15, 2019 Decided to launch Support My School

I have spent over 1 year building directory software on WordPress. My first business is CryptoStar.money which is a crypto directory. This is a slow burning project. I have decided to use the software that I have written to create a new platform Support My School.
