Cheaper, safer, and remembered AI coding agents. Show more l
AI coding agents are becoming part of everyday development, but using several of them creates three recurring problems:
They repeatedly consume the same context.
They can expose secrets or execute unsafe actions.
They forget important knowledge between sessions.
That’s why I built Surfil.
Surfil is an on-device control plane that works alongside Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Copilot. It helps reduce unnecessary token usage, block risky actions before execution, and preserve reusable memory across agents.
The core principle is simple: source code stays on the developer’s machine. Measured outputs can also be signed and verified offline.
I’m currently looking for honest feedback from developers using AI coding agents:
Which problem matters most to you: cost, security, or memory?

About
I’m working on Surfil because AI coding agents are powerful, but they can be expensive, risky, and forgetful. Surfil exists to give developers one on-device control layer that reduces token waste, blocks unsafe actions,
