Sway
Portfolio tracker for Bitcoin, stocks and ETFs with real PnL
I've been investing in Bitcoin, stocks and ETFs for a few years. And for a few years, I had the same problem: no single app handled all three properly.
Delta is great for crypto. But my ETFs? Not really. Google Sheets works until you try to calculate real PnL with transaction fees included, then it breaks. And switching between 3 different apps to get a global view of my portfolio was exhausting.
So about a year ago I started building Sway.
What it does:
→ One dashboard for Bitcoin, stocks (NYSE + Euronext) and ETFs
→ Real PnL with every transaction fee included, buy fees, sell fees, all of it
→ Realized vs unrealized PnL, average cost basis per position
→ Prices updated every 5 minutes, auto-converted EUR/USD
→ Portfolio charts from 1 week to all-time
→ AI assistant (Sway AI), ask anything about your own portfolio
→ Weekly Monday email recap, net worth, weekly change, allocation, AI insight
→ Privacy mode, PIN lock, encrypted data
→ CSV import (Coinbase/Binance formats supported)
I built it for myself. Now I'm opening it up.
It's free. First 500 signups get Premium free for 1 year.
Looking for honest feedback, what's missing, what's confusing, what breaks.

Building it around your own portfolio gives you a very clear starting point.
Now that other investors are coming in, what are you most uncertain about: whether they share the same need for one cross-asset view, or whether they value that enough to move away from whatever they're already using?
Great question, and honestly both uncertainties are real. My gut feeling is that the cross-asset view is the core need, most people I know who invest in both BTC and stocks are juggling at least 2-3 apps and a spreadsheet. The friction is real. The switching cost is the harder problem. That's why I focused on making the setup as fast as possible, you can add your first position in under 2 minutes, and the live price auto-fills when you select an asset. No excuse not to try it. Coverage-wise: stocks and ETFs cover NYSE and Euronext (most major tickers), plus Bitcoin. So for someone with Stocks positions + a BTC position, everything is already there. The honest answer on switching: I think people will try it if it's free and fast to set up, and stay if the weekly Monday email recap gives them something their current setup doesn't. That's the retention bet I'm making. Feedback from early users will tell me quickly if I'm wrong.
That’s helpful context. The distinction between proving the problem exists and proving people will change their existing workflow is an important one.
I’d like to continue the conversation outside the thread. What’s the best email to reach you on?
