SynchNotes
Simplify your meeting summaries and tasks in a calendar view
Hello everyone,
I've built a beta version of the product so I decided that if enough people join the waiting list (synchnotes.com), i'll release the beta for free and gather feedbacks to make it even better.
Hope you're doing well!
Wish you the best :)
Hello everyone!
I have always wanted to create a business ever since I was young and so I decided to be a software engineer to learn the technical skills to create what I want. After graduating from my school and while on my full time job, I started multiple side projects which all failed for multiple different reasons.
After the last failed project I realized that my approach was wrong and decided to do things differently. A friend who doesn't live in the same city than me and I recently started having Google Meet calls where we discuss on various topics like mindset, entrepreneurship and more. We wanted to record them to review them later to get feedbacks, improve the way we communicate, having records of the discussions, what we planned to do next and all the posssible benefit it can have. Upon looking for and using a tool that allows us to achieve this we discovered many things.
1. There is many features we don't actually need
2. The website were not lean enough and the UX was bad overall
3. The meetings where not organized in a clear way
That is the reason I started working on SynchNotes. My goal is to fix those issues and this how SynchNotes does it:
1. Only the necessary features: Meeting transcript, summary, task created and automatically sent to your preferred task management plateform.
2. Simple and up to the point UX where you don't need to gess what and where things are
3. The meetings, notes and actions items are neatly organized in a calendar view so you can find past meetings insight instantly
If you've ever been in my situation, felt frustated or overwhelmed by the tools on the market don't hesitate to join at synchnotes.com
Hope it will be usefull to you and help in your endeavor!
Wish you the best :)

That's interesting! How do you plan to market it?

Thanks for the interest you have for the product!
Right now the way I'm marketing it is through interest groups, product launch websites and cold DM on linkedin. Any feedback on my waitlist?-
1
Have you ever thought of hiring marketing professionals to help out? Oh and P.S I tried joining the waitlist but after filling in my details it kinda froze

It's weird. I just tested it again and it should work.
About hiring marketing professionals, I'll think about it when I see interest and wants to grow more

Awesome! How did you get your first users? I just launched my first app and struggle to get any.

I still don't have a first user since I want to be sure that there's an actual demand for it or i'm the only one that will us it. Do you have any feedback on my waitlist?
Where can I see your app and how do you market it ?-

Oh alright, I was referring to the people that signed up for your wait-list. On your landing page it says you have 57+ people which is way more than me 😄
And your wait-list looks awesome actually. I really like it. No suggestions here.
My app is called "DeveloperJournal", an easy way to track your progress during app development. I launched today on product hunt, dev-to and a lot of other sites/subreddits. Made it primarily for myself but I'm happy I was able to launch it to the public.-

Thanks for the feedback!
Can you share the link so I can give you feedbacks too?-

I really wish I could but because my account is so new they are not allowing me. The easiest way to find my app is to go on product hunt and search "Developer Journal". Dark icon. Today launched.

I couldn't find it unfortunatly. Maybe tomorrow it will be visible

Oh that's weird. Maybe try just combining developer + journal together like so: developerjournal and add the .app tld at the end (developerjournal .app). Sorry for the mess, I really don't know why they disabled links for new users 🙃
Edit: I can now! https://www.developerjournal.app/-

I've found it! It's a nice landing page and I understand what your product do but I don't see what is the problem you are solving

Thank you for your feedback! It's really all about project tracking.
I myself as an indie developer struggle to log and review the progress made in my apps. There are tools like notion but it's just not the same. They lack the nativeness of actually being a developer tool.
And that's really why I've made Developer Journal - to log (or have it automatically which I actually use very often) the progress, have recaps to look back at how much it evolved, and more. It's a digital journal for developers. Developer Journal!
That's the problem is solves - at least for me.
Hope it makes sense now and I really appreciate the feedback - it helps a lot!

You need to create demand for your app

Can you explain more? How so?

Creating demand for a product people don’t think they need requires a mix of education, psychology, and strategic marketing. Many big companies have done this successfully by shifting consumer perception.
Firstly: Identify a Problem. People don’t buy what they don’t understand or think they don’t need. Show them why they actually do.Apple made people believe they needed an iPad, even though laptops and phones already existed.
Secondly:Make It Aspirational (Sell the Outcome, Not Just the Product) You have to use content marketing across various social media channels, show the lifestyle that your product will bring.
Thirdly: I personally believe that, Founders marketing their own product at an early stage adds authenticity and builds a strong connection with the audience. When they tell their story, why they built it, the problem it solves, and how it’s different. It feels more personal and compelling than a polished corporate campaign.
Look at Brian Chesky (Airbnb), Melanie Perkins (Canva), or even Alex Hormozi. They built their brands by being the face of their company, sharing insights, and engaging directly with their audience. That kind of storytelling creates trust and makes people care about the product.
Once you’ve built demand and need to scale marketing without breaking the bank, consider outsourcing to agencies in Nigeria. Some offer great results at a fraction of the cost. Let me know if you ever need recommendations!

About
After looking at and using similar tools on the market for my personal need, I felt like it wasn't lean enough, had to much features I didn't need and wasn't clearly organized.
