The initial version of System Examiner is now available for testing. It took about two months of work, 60 000 lines of code but the app is now ready.

System Examiner is a lightweight, freeware app to generate a system information report from Windows computers. It lists details of your computer’s installed hardware and software, as well as attempts to detect common system errors and potential problems.

System Examiner works in Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 and Windows Vista.

    Awesome effort - 60k lines of code. It's nice to hear people still make Windows apps ;). What language/framework did you use?

I wanted a lightweight, free app that creates a simple to use, yet extensive report from the hardware and software configuration, that is portable and supports automation. There was none, so I created it.
