Added answer piping to Tally

Hi IH 👋

This week we've added answer piping as a new feature to your Tally forms.

In multi-question forms, it can be convenient to mention a respondent's answer to an earlier question. Answer piping allows you to insert answers or hidden fields into another part of the form in real-time. Answer piping, or recalling information helps to make your forms more personal and smart. It is available to all Tally users for free.

Can't wait for you to try it out, let us know what you think!

I didn't realize Tally was made by an IndieHacker. It's great!

Just built my first form with it this week.

One question/feature request: seems like refreshing a page while a form is in progress loses all data, including if it's a multi-page form. It'd be super helpful to at least have a warning that data is going to be lost on a refresh, or ideally, save the data to local storage so it doesn't vanish (and then clear local storage on submit).

I'm amazed how many form tools (including very popular ones) make it SO easy for a visitor to lose everything they typed out. 😅

      Hi Alex!

Great to hear you're using Tally!

We should have a warning message when you refresh, but it seems to be bugged, so thanks for letting us know.

We'll definitely look into how we can save the data locally as well, thanks a lot for the suggestion!
