April 26, 2020 MVP built! Impactful Content at Scale ⚡️

After our research, we started to build to own framework to produce great content, at scale. Ambitious stuff here!

How to actually do what people are struggling to?

Well, we "deconstructed" the whole "thoughts" to "paper" value chain and processes.

Analyzing many people's way of doing that gave us tons of good and bad practices.

We spent many hours on "popular" content and more niche blogs.

Seeing patterns emerged from those discussions and many processes set by great content producers helped us a lot.

We identified two key moments in that process where humans were essential.

We called them "Sparring Partners" and "Copywriters".

We get people into a ring (a virtual one 🥊) to extract that they have the best to offer, we make them sweat!

Afterward, time for content magic, copy, back and forth, etc..

How different are we? We use a set of tech at two other key steps of the value chain to boost your future content impact!

With a team of 2 engineers, 3 copywriters, and help from many great people (thanks to all of you!), we are able to ship something great.

Have your first 10+ "Request for Access" sign-ups on tamaya.io and our first sales meetings with early adopters!

We are the verge to go many great pieces for top people around France and the US!

April 24, 2020 How hard could it be to write great content? 🕵️🕵

Well, my co-founder and I did many many interviews!

We talked to CPO, HoP and Lead PMs,

We talked to CEO and Founders,

We talked to CRO, Sales leaders,

We talked to HR and Talent leaders,

We talked well to many users. Because some I always say is "talk to your users and you will get wiser".

Users are the key to every service or software in our case.

We plan to serve them and getting to know them is mandatory and the starting point!

So over many days, we hop-in, Helen and I into interviews.

We tried to understand many things, like

  • what people were reading,
  • what makes a good or a bad piece of content,
  • for people who are writing what is their process motivations and pains?
  • for people who didn't write, what is because they didn't want to? not motivated enough? or maybe simplify because they were afraid?
  • how could we help with an idea for a service that will extract their insights and write top of the shelf pieces as if it were written by them directly!

SO MANY THINGS, WOAAAH <3

We were into something! After many hours of analysis, well we had an epiphany!

People are struggling to write content, it's hard and time-consuming. Current solutions to write content as someone don't really produce what our users called "Impactful Content".

Problem found!

Next step: MVP!

(Ps: A Quick Actionable insight? Doing Research is easy!

We did that with LinkedIn + Calendly + Zoom then Slite for Notes and Analysis.

Just write down your hypothesis, a set of questions from very wide ones to very specific. Focus on the "Jobs-to-be-done", what people are hiring stuff to do. Focus on the context and situations your potential users are doing things, their motivations doing so, etc..

Afterward, watch Replays! Popcorn times :D

Exchange notes with someone, and do pattern analysis to identify recurring problems, motivations, and expected outcomes!

If someone sticks, you will see it after at least 5-10 interviews

For us, it was sticking right in front of our faces !! <3)

April 13, 2019 Not like another idea!

Two years ago, as a VP Product in a fast-growing startup in Paris (FR), I started to train and onboard my newly PMs when I started to struggle with something very specific.

How could I train easily my PMs as I was only one for many of them?

I started to look at alternatives, structured training, contents, and... nothing!

Medium is good but the content isn't structured, and tons of content is actionable less than average.

LinkedIn is full of clickbait, yet some "influencers" are starting to emerge. Not every time for honorable reasons, yet it's a good source of insights

Twitter is full of magic, but the magic fades under tons of noise.

Well, I couldn't find anything so I started to think about it.

And if you actually want to train your own people, well except for expensive one-shot training, nothing really existing outside of some great niches.

So I'm starting to build it with my team!

And every talent development track starts with Impactful contents:

  • pieces so opinionated that it resonated with your "inner yourself", it can shake your beliefs or reinforce them!
  • chunks of actionable insights you can directly reuse in your own context to see actual ROI!
  • with an authentic tone of voice, with some spirit and soul!

But most of the amazing insights around are still tucked into people's heads.

So we are moving to tackle this problem with Tamaya :)
