Tamera
24-hour Camera roll
After months of adding tiny features to Tamera I've decided to post it to Product hunt.
I didn't want to do it right away with v1.0 because you only get to launch there a few times and I wanted the app to be able to stand on its own legs.
Tamera just passed 10+ votes as I'm writing this 🥳
I got the weekly App Store recap email and in there was another subscriber this week which brings the total of paid users to a flat 10 🥳
I kept adding features to the Pro plan so beside hiding the ads, subscribers can set a period of up to 30 days (based on feedback I got) and auto-delete photos after saving them.

congrats!! keep going!
This past weekend, I got the first subscriber to Tamera on App Store connect.
I'm not sure what drove the subscription but the plan offers a way to hide ads and set a custom grace period before photos are deleted.
It adds an extra layer of validation and also an extra motivation :)
After getting lots of feedback, I decided to give Tamera another shot ;) By adding more features and polishing the UI.
The first version was rushed so this update makes it officially an app I'm proud of.

Finally got approved by App Review and went live on the App Store.
The challenge was to deal with the new privacy policy rules.
I had to provide a full fledged privacy policy for Tamera and the frameworks I use.
Also provided a terms of use with clear sections regarding Subscriptions.

Congratulations! Now the fun begins :)
My niece was rating about how she hates that every photo she takes using the iOS camera is saved and that she has to go through them every day.
She wanted to only keep the ones she liked by default. Kinda like instagram she said.
So I'm like: here's something I can fix :)
And came up with Tamera
Camera with flash
A 24-hour camera roll.
Take photos and videos, save/share what you want. The app deletes the rest after 24 hours.
