September 24, 2020 Moving beyond MVP based on Feedback from customers

We launched a few months ago at a low price point with the intent of getting a few paying customers to gain feedback to improve upon our MVP.

While we haven't gotten as many customers as I would have liked to see, the several we have added have been invaluable in validating our idea and gaining feedback on what features we had missing.

With the release this week, we have moved on from our MVP and are becoming a full featured product and we should be able to increase pricing for new customers soon.

For anyone that is interested, here is a quick summary of the features that were added based on paying customer feedback:

June 26, 2020 Finished MVP and opened signups.

After several months of coding, I'm finally ready for feedback and opened signups for all.

I'm looking forward to consulting teams and freelancers trying out TaskBill.io. I hope everyone loves it but I also can't wait to get feedback on how the service can be even better!

Great job Joe! We're also launching in 2 days so it's exciting to see other founders launching too. Keep it up!

May 1, 2020 Started Development of Web App

After solving time tracking and invoices for my own needs, I decided to further develop my idea for others to use as well. I used jumpstartrails.com pro as a framework. The application is built with Rails 6, Stimulus JS and Action Cable. I also started working on an iOS app built with Ionic on appery.io.

About

I created TaskBill.io originally for myself as an effortless way to track time on tasks in Asana projects. I wanted to be able to start/stop timers directly from Asana and then send invoices for all unbilled tasks.
