October 25, 2019 Started our Content Marketing πŸ“•

After a lot of searching, and some pretty bad writers - we've finally found someone that aligns with our goals and has a nice style of writing. Super happy with the results so far.

With our last 6 months of growth, we have started to funnel some money into our content and SEO.

Our plan for 2020 is to ramp up our SEO and Content and grow the monthly unique users to 2000 - double what we have now.

Needle in a haystack but we eventually found a great writer on upwork!

September 16, 2019 Penny Dropped. Growing @ 9% month on month 🀩

We've had a strong few months that has resulted in a complete revamp of our landing page and a major focus on PPC campaigns. Capterra has proven to be quite a success for us, and out CAC is tending very well vs. our LTV.

The goal for the remaining months of the year is to achieve our MRR targets and continue our growth into 2020.

We are now in the process of mapping out our content plan for Q4 and an aggressive marketing plan for 2020.

February 6, 2019 We doubled our traffic in the last 30 days πŸš€

Since we took over Teach 'n Go (https://www.teachngo.com/) in late December / early January - we managed to double the traffic that is hitting our landing page with a very low output on direct marketing.

Result.

Hey - we have just acquired in early Jan - so we are still testing best channels for return.

We will have a big focus on Content Marketing in 2019.

Oh, so people just came to the app with no work done on your part?

        1. 1

Of course, there was work done - a lot of work.

We have done some work on Content Marketing which has started to bring a steady flow of traffic to our site.

January 8, 2019 Bots, Bots and more Bots!

A request has gone to the Dev for a honeypot captcha to be added to our customer sign up form to rid us of the dreaded bots!

Once complete, we will implement a full onboarding email campaign through Intercom. I thought it might be best to leave this until after the captcha has been added - so we don't flag to Google for spam / bad email accounts!
