Helping teachers find careers they love
Setting this up was pretty easy. I'm using Convertkit to create landing pages and send the newsletter.
My first issue is a breakdown of the Customer Support role at Wildbit for their Postmark product. I'm friends with someone at Wildbit, so I've been paying attention to their people first approach which I think would fit a teacher really well.
So far, I've had less uptake with teachers than I'd hope for, but I did get a few subscriptions from folks I do not know (not just friends and family).
I've created a sequence in ConvertKit to automatically send a link to a Notion page with my job breakdown so that new subscribers get some immediate value.

Costs So Far
$15 for the domain on Gandi
$29 for the first month of ConvertKit (wanted premium so I could setup some automations)
5-10h doing some customer discovery, writing my first newsletter, some twitter promotion.
