A Simple Solution To An Annoying Problem

This product arose from a simple need within a few teams I worked with. We used multiple products that required phone number verification, and I often had to determine whose number was associated with the account and coordinate with them to obtain the verification code needed to log in.

My solution was to create a simple product that allows customers to buy a phone number and have messages forwarded to a Slack channel accessible to their entire team. This is a simpler solution than manually configuring forwarding with functions and maintaining the results.

After getting a few local businesses to try it out, I discovered that there was a market for this product. However, I still needed to find the right marketing strategy and determine the product's value.

From the beginning, I faced the challenge of being unable to offer a free plan due to the cost of purchasing each phone number. However, I have since pivoted and added a free trial to encourage more customers to try the product.
