Tearoff
Tear-off flyers for the internet.
Tearoff just made its first $10: two purchases. Tiny, I know, but for a niche side project, it's enough to keep me going.
If you haven't seen it: Tearoff lets you create digital tear-off flyers. Each tab can hold a discount code, a secret message, a link — whatever. When someone grabs a tab, it's gone for everyone.
Simple mechanic, but it works well when scarcity matters.
Would love for you to try it and tell me what you think, feedback is super welcome: https://tearoff.app/
Hey IH,
Just launched Tearoff (tearoff.app), a simple tool to create digital flyers with tear-off tabs. Think "guitar lessons" paper flyers on city walls, but online.
The dev part was honestly the fun part. I loved the challenge of cutting scope to get to a real MVP. I had a whole list of "nice to have" features but forced myself to ship with just the core mechanic: create a flyer, add tabs, share a link. Tabs disappear when claimed.
That's it.
Now I'm in the phase that always drains me: actually getting it in front of people. Product Hunt, HN, here, a few Reddits.
It's necessary but exhausting compared to the building. Anyway, if anyone has feedback or can think of use cases I'm missing, I'd genuinely appreciate it.
Always curious what others see that I don't.

About
I built it because I always liked the physicality of those "guitar lessons" flyers you see on city walls, and I wanted to see if that scarcity mechanic could work digitally.
