Tech Startup Community

After weeks of development, we finally launched the website! We developed the website in NextJS and use Vercel for hosting.

The website contributes to our mission of creating a community of entrepreneurs through providing additional resources and blog posts.

After I had the idea and got some feedback from a few friends, I decided that I should just go for it. Instead of waiting for the perfect idea, I just decided to launch it!

After around a week of development & preparation I decided to launch the community publicly on Discord.

At first it was just me and a few other friends, but gradually more people began to trickle in.

I was pretty involved with quite a few communities in the startup world, many of which were almost completely inactive. I also struggled to find one around my two specific areas of interest- tech & startups.

That is where the idea for the Tech Startup Community came from- combining my two favourite areas- tech & entrepreneurship.

The goal would be to create a community to surround entrepreneurs with a supportive community to give them feedback, advice, networking opportunities and more!
