Fun fact: my HN tracker flagged the $7B Stripe/OpenRouter acquisition rumor minutes after it went live.
Each tool costs $0.10 per 10 items to run, and the suite is listed on Glama.ai — so AI agents can discover and use the tools autonomously via MCP.
Currently at $0 MRR. My goal: my first paying customer this month. Any advice from API/data founders on landing that first customer would mean the world! 🙏

The acquisition-rumor example is a strong demonstration of why real-time monitoring can matter. The harder part seems to be turning an interesting detection into something a customer depends on regularly, rather than just a useful one-off alert.

The $7B rumor is a great "proof moment," but the real business has to be recurring usefulness, not just one lucky detection. My current thinking is to position the toolkit around repeatable monitoring workflows, for example: - recruiters tracking fast-growing GitHub repos/skills - founders watching Product Hunt and Hacker News for market signals - investors monitoring SEC filings and emerging AI research - AI agents needing fresh live data instead of stale search results The next challenge is exactly what you said: turning these from one-off scrapers into dependable monitoring tools that people or agents check regularly. I really appreciate this feedback. If you were testing this, which recurring use case would you focus on first?
