I started Techietribe AI thinking the main problem was simple: small businesses need an easier, more affordable way to get online.
But the deeper I got into it, the more I realised the website is only the first piece.
Once a business starts growing, its information ends up everywhere, website, Google, directories, social profiles, customer tools, messaging platforms. Change your hours, phone number, service or location and suddenly you’re updating the same thing in five different places.
That problem is more real than I expected. A Salesforce/Slack survey found that 29% of small business owners were repeating messages across platforms, while 30% were losing time searching for information in the wrong places. And Google itself recommends keeping business information complete and up to date because it can affect visibility in local search.
That changed what we’re building.
TechieTribe AI still helps businesses create their online presence with AI-assisted pages and templates, but we’re also building an integrated directory, Presence Sync, automated integrations, and eventually stores, chatbots and automation around the same business profile.
The idea isn’t to build another “AI website builder.”
It’s to make the messy part after launching a business a lot less messy.
And considering there are 36.2M small businesses in the US alone, I think there’s plenty of room to solve this better.
Still early, still learning, but the problem feels much bigger now than when I started.

The shift from “website builder” to managing a business’s information across multiple places is the more interesting problem. A single business profile that keeps those details consistent could be much more valuable than another tool for generating the initial website.
Exactly, basic web creation tools are over crowded now, so it was better to shift towards a more realistic problem.
