I am from Pakistan. Not many people here are interested in tech growth. I tried to find people in tech, but almost all the meet-ups failed to show up [did not happen even after making announcements].

I reached out to my university friend, Wasif, not on indie hacker, and planned on organising our first event in Islamabad, Capital of Pakistan.

We launched the event on Meetup.com. Only 1 person showed up. And it lead to further disappointment. Rejection - gave me wings. And in anger, I felt I can not stop until people start showing up.

Since our first failed meetup on 19 January 2020, I have conducted 1 meetup every month. Tomorrow is our 10th Chapter - and - I am proud of managing to show up for past 9 months.

We are now 5 USD per ticket, and people are showing up, so.. things are pretty much out of storm now.

Reading this puts an obligation on you to attend my events. Moral obligation. 😁
