Made some programatic SEO improvements!

Since I'm building a Sales prospecting tool for techstackleads.com there is a ton of B2B company data in my database. So I did what the other sales prospecting tools do and created an SEO page for each company in my database!

Hopefully a few weeks from now I'll be able to get Google search traffic from users looking up information on the most popular companies on the web.

If this goes well I'll add SEO pages for the jobs on my website. I'm excited to see the results of this experiment.

(I see my meta tags are working as well!! ^___^)

Do you plan other activities in order to gain backlinks to said programmatic SEO pages? It is my understanding that without a significant amount of backlinks, the pages will perform quite badly, but maybe I am wrong, I am not an expert at all.

I'm not not an expert either. I don't know if I'll be penalized for this but I'm going to figure it out as I go.

Hi Steven, Programmatic SEO is a buzz on the internet for a couple of years and there are various opinions. While you're attempting the process, I would appreciate it if you can have a few words about your process as I'm on the same ship 😊

By the way the TechStackLeads looks impressive, live search is amazing.

For sure! So far the best way I've learned is by thinking about content in terms of topics, and templates.

Topics are what you want to talk about within a domain. Let's say your domain is cars. Each topic would be a type of car: Ford and Toyota.

Templates are the format of the content. Let's say the format you want is a tutorial article.

You can then multiply the number of topics by the number of templates to get the number of articles. For example:

How to change a tire on 2012 Ford Focus
How to change a tire on 2012 Ford F150
How to change a tire on 2012 Toyota Corolla F150
How to change a tire on 2012 Toyota Camry F150

      ... and so on.

Then you can use a tool like NextJS to easily create static pages for each of those articles. I hope that was helpful. I'll keep sharing more updates as the results show up from Google.

        Well explained, Thanks man :)
