Teeachie

All-in-One Platform for Language Teachers

April 22, 2026 I built Teeachie for my girlfriend, an Italian teacher

My girlfriend teaches Italian online. She has students across three time zones, a mix of 1:1 lessons and small groups, and a business running across:

- Google Calendar for bookings

- A Google Sheet for payments

- WhatsApp for reminders and materials

- Google Drive for worksheets

- Her memory for which student had credits left

Things kept slipping. Students showed up to classes she'd forgotten to cancel. She charged someone twice and apologized for a week. She rewrote the same onboarding message every time a new student signed up.

I started looking for a tool built specifically for independent language teachers. Couldn't find one. Generic tutoring software felt bolted together from a scheduling widget and an invoicing plugin. Marketplace platforms like italki and Preply help you find students but do nothing for teachers running their own business.

So I started building Teeachie.

This is what we have right now:

- Student CRM. One profile per student with notes, payments, and class history.

- Scheduling. Recurring lessons, group classes, back-to-back bookings that don't trigger false conflict warnings, student self-scheduling with teacher-set guardrails.

- Payments. Native lesson packages and subscription credits as first-class concepts, not bolted-on invoicing. Late-cancellation charges flow through automatically.

- Class pages. Materials, homework, and shared student notes tied to the exact lesson instead of floating in Drive.

- Student portal. Students get a branded interface where they see their schedule, materials, and progress. Replaces the WhatsApp file dump.

- Real preview-as-student mode. Teachers log in as the student and see the exact page the student sees.

Where we are now:

Private beta. Launching publicly late 2026. Beta testers get 3 months free and a 50% lifetime discount.

If you know an independent language teacher who's drowning in admin, send them to https://teeachie.com. I'd love their honest feedback.

And if you're building something in the "helping solo professionals run their business" space, I'd love to compare notes. What's been the hardest part of getting a niche SaaS in front of the right people?

It is a massive relief for independent educators to finally stop feeling like a part-time administrator and start focusing on actually teaching again. Most people don't realize that managing "lesson credits" and cross-timezone scheduling manually is a recipe for burnout, especially when a single mistake with a payment or a double-booking can damage a long-term student relationship.

Since you've built native lesson packages into the core of the system, does Teeachie automatically send "low credit" alerts to students so they can top up their balance before their next scheduled session, or is that still a manual nudge from the teacher?

About

My girlfriend teaches Italian. She juggled Calendar, spreadsheets, WhatsApp, and Drive to run her business. Students got double-booked, payments went uncounted. I built Teeachie so everything lives in one place.
