A small team of developers who decided to build and sell niche digital businesses. Today we want to share the story behind one of our latest builds: TeethJob.com, an AI-powered dental staffing marketplace.

The Idea

We're always hunting for underserved niches. The hiring space is massive and competitive, but when you zoom in, you find pockets that generic platforms like Indeed and LinkedIn completely ignore.

Dental staffing is one of them.

I’m looking for a serious Marketing or Sales Partner to take the lead on distribution. I’m interested in talking to someone who knows how to navigate B2B sales and wants to run with a turn-key asset on a high-commission or equity-vesting basis. I’ve built the engine; I’m looking for someone to drive it.

As i was saying, dental practices have a very specific hiring problem. They need hygienists, assistants, and front-desk staff who understand the environment. Generic job boards flood them with irrelevant applicants. And dental professionals on the job hunt face a unique anxiety, they don't want their current employer finding out they're looking.

That pain point became our product. (My bedtime Aha moment!)

The Domain Find

Before writing a single line of code, we found TeethJob.com — a domain that had been registered 19 years ago. That's not nothing. Aged domains carry real SEO authority, and GoDaddy valued it at $1,449 on its own.

For a niche SaaS targeting a specific industry, skipping Google's sandbox period is a meaningful head start. We grabbed it immediately and built around it.

What We Built

The core product is a vertical SaaS marketplace — think a job board, but purpose-built for dentistry and powered by AI.

The stack we settled on:

• React + Vite for a fast, modern frontend

• Convex as our serverless backend — no Express server to babysit

• Clerk for authentication

• Stripe for subscription billing

The feature we're most proud of is the AI Market Pulse widget, powered by Gemini AI. Instead of a boring search bar, professionals type their dream role in plain English and instantly get salary estimates and market demand data. It's designed to create a curiosity gap that drives sign-ups before a user even creates a profile.

The other standout feature is Anonymous Profiles. Dental professionals can be discoverable to practices without exposing their name or contact details — until they accept an interview request. It's a small UX decision that removes a huge real-world barrier.

The Business Model

Simple and recurring:

• Dental practices pay a monthly subscription to post jobs and access candidate contact details

• Featured listings for practices that want top placement

• Banner advertising for dental supply companies

At just 25 practices paying $99/month, that's $2,500 MRR. Fully passive once the flywheel starts.

Where It Stands Today

We're being transparent — TeethJob is a ready-to-launch asset, not a cash-flowing business yet. The tech is done. The domain is aged. The model is proven elsewhere. What it needs now is a focused owner who understands the dental market and wants to do the distribution work.

Our skill is building. We'd rather hand this to someone whose skill is growing it.

What We Learned

• Niche is your friend. A dental-only platform has less competition and more trust from its target audience than any generic alternative.

• Aged domains are an underrated asset class. The SEO head start is real.

• Serverless is the right call for lean SaaS builds. Convex + Clerk + Stripe is a powerful zero-ops stack.

• Distribution is a different skill than development. Know which one you are.
