Tekki
One platform for content strategy and creation.
I'm Josh, a B2B technology marketer based in London. I've spent the last 13 years building and scaling marketing functions at tech/SaaS companies, mostly small teams trying to produce the content output of a much larger department.
A few months ago I decided to build the tool I always wished existed. That became Tekki.
The problem I kept running into
Every B2B tech marketing team I have ever been part of has the same content problem. There is always more to produce than time to produce it. Blogs, thought leadership, case studies, battle cards, landing pages, email sequences, while sales, product, and leadership are all asking for more at the same time.
When AI writing tools arrived I thought they would help. They made production faster but the output was generic. Every tool I tried knew nothing about the market I was writing for, the buyers I was trying to reach, or what made my company different from competitors. You ended up spending more time editing it into something usable than it would have taken to write it yourself.
The deeper problem was that most teams, including mine, were producing content reactively. No clear view of which funnel stages had gaps, which buyer types had no content, or which campaign ideas actually fit the market. Strategy was something that happened in someone's head, not in a system.
What I built
Tekki is a content intelligence platform for B2B tech marketing teams. It combines strategy and creation in one place.
The intelligence layer tells you what your content strategy is missing before you write anything. AI recommendations cross-reference your company profile, your defined ICPs, and your content library to surface content gaps by funnel stage, lead generation opportunities, incomplete sequences, and campaign ideas tailored to your market.
From there it generates the content. 12 content types across marketing and sales, in your brand voice, for your specific buyers. Case studies, battle cards, blog posts, email sequences, LinkedIn posts, one-pagers, and more. No prompt engineering. No re-briefing. No editing generic output back into something usable.
It also has SEO keyword strategy built in, ICP buyer guides for every B2B tech buyer type, and a content library to manage everything generated.
Where I am now
I built Tekki in about six weeks using Lovable, React, Supabase, and the Claude API. It launched on Product Hunt, the SEO foundations are in place, and I have sent cold outreach to around 900 B2B tech marketing contacts with decent open rates but no paid conversions yet.
I am also starting a new full-time role as a marketing leader at a Google Cloud partner on April 10th, which means Tekki is a side project from that point. The goal before then is to get the first paying customer. After that it is about building sustainably alongside a demanding day job.
What I am trying to figure out
The main question right now is conversion. Open rates on cold email are strong, suggesting the positioning is landing, but nobody has signed up for a free trial yet. I suspect the gap is between someone reading the email and someone trusting a new tool enough to invest time setting up their profile and generating their first piece.
If anyone has been through a similar experience with a SaaS product targeting a professional audience, I would love to hear what moved the needle for you.
Tekki is at tekki.app if you want to take a look. Free trial, no card required.
About
I spent over a decade running marketing at B2B technology companies. In that time, the content problem never went away. There was always more to produce than time to produce it, and the content that did get made was rare
