Very cool product! The design feels energetic and focused, and the orange color gives it a strong, active vibe that fits well with cycling and performance.
From a privacy perspective, I like the local-first architecture. Keeping video files and telemetry data on the user’s device is a strong trust signal.
A few things stand out positively:
• Clear separation between local data and server-side data
• Secure storage of license keys and Strava tokens in OS credential managers
• Explicit retention periods
• No selling of personal data
One question from a privacy and integrity angle:
Since you generate a hashed device identifier for license enforcement, how are you protecting against reverse engineering or spoofing attempts? Is the hash salted or combined with a server-side secret to prevent predictable fingerprint recreation?
Overall, strong transparency of the app. The local-first model plus clear boundaries on what you do not collect is a major trust advantage.
