Creating Marketplace for No-Code Templates

Hey Makers! 🙌

Two years after joining Indie Hackers, I finally decided to create a post (well, it's better than on Twitter because it took me more than 9 years - I am not really a "social media" guy as you can see).

Anyway, in the last 6 months, I've been really into No-Code. Before Template Hackers, I was working on a totally different project with my tech co-founder, but it was really hard to maintain after we became a father of his 3rd child 👶👶👶 Then I started to look into how I could create my own ideas without a tech founder, and that's when I discovered the No-Code movement. Right away, it caught my attention and I saw all the projects I could work on!

After brainstorming and researching the No-Code space, I saw an opportunity to create a marketplace for No-Code Templates. While there are some great No-Code dictionaries, communities, and learning courses, as well as Webflow or Notion template marketplaces out there, I noticed that there wasn't a single platform that brought everything together. Instead, every No-Code tool had its own marketplace for templates, and template creators had their own websites to showcase their work. I wanted to streamline this process and make it easier for users to access all of these resources in one place, so I set out to create the marketplace myself.

After 4 months of learning and working on it, I published it and started talking with No-Code template creators. The first feedback is promising, and I got the first templates added by creators. Best feeling ever! The next step is to get as much feedback from template creators, make necessary adjustments, and leave the rest for v.2 of the product and focus on bringing traffic to the website (I have a couple of ideas for that).

That's all for now. Thanks for your time. Follow me if you are curious about my adventure and next results. 👋

Fun fact: No-Code Template Marketplace was made using Bubble Template 😅

Best,
Rafał
