February 16, 2020 Hiring Internationally and Partnering

I talked with one of my business mentors about my different projects. Honestly, I have had some success in consulting/freelancing so my original plan was to just drop TempleTribeclothing.com and focus on consulting. But one of my mentors suggested I keep going and just sell the inventory I have to make back what I paid for them.

So to balance my consulting work, school, and freelancing I decided to try and hire someone. I put 1 post on my personal Facebook and LinkedIn and got 5 interviews. Hired a guy I met in Europe to do marketing and am partnering with a friend in the US to help with Business Development and Strategy. I am paying my friend in Europe commission on each sale and my US friend offered to work for free! (Which by the way is a really good tactic if you want to work at a startup your interested in)

Really cool progress and released a weight off of my back because I know I just don't have time to do the marketing that needs to be done.

+1 for TeamWork!

October 12, 2019 Changed up my Instagram marketing tactics

I have been mildly successful on Instagram so far with my different marketing tactics. Yesterday I changed it up and have had some pretty amazing results! Before my engagement rate was about 30% and it has jumped to 60 or 70%.

Originally I was just posting content but I started to engage more with my Target customer and it's been going well. Instead of hoping they'll see my content I've been reaching out and engaging with them directly. I've also been utilizing Instagram stories more and plan to put more content in my stories rather than in my Instagram feed.

Congrats on the increase in engagement 🎉

Have you tried using any tools to help with engaging with your audience? Liking, commenting, hashtags, direct messaging, user generated content (UGC) are all examples. There is also a bit a strategy on when you engage with your potential customers and when you post.

Would love to chat more, just ask any questions!

      Hey Justin!
Yes I use tools for analytics, posting, and hash tag analysis. Will definitely reach out since you have experience with Instagram analytics!

Nice, I have used Buffer, Later and Iconosquare pretty thoroughly. Other like Planoly and MeetEdgar I have tried. Each has their perks and downsides though.

Which is your favorite hashtag analytics tool? Try out Curate (https://curate-app.com) if you have time. It's not like anything I have ever tried out when it comes to hashtag analytics. I'll make sure you get white glove service and it's free if you would just let me know what you think!

How do you reach out? Sending DMs? Or commenting on their stuff?

      Hey @rosiesherry
I have been doing both. I follow a potential customer, like/comment on their content and Dm them an offer. Has been working great for me!

February 3, 2019 Why does slim fit not fit?

I came up with TempleTribe for men who workout and are sick of paying for top brands that don't fit or feel like they should. I wanted a product that was cheap enough for a college student yet was tailored fit, anti-sweat, and anti-ultraviolet. So i created my own.
I have always been a fit guy and have worn slim fit shirts. My shoulders were always too tight and I got horrible, and I mean horrible, pit stains. So I designed a shirt that would be great for athletic men. This is where the idea of TempleTribe came from.
