Free disposable email with no signup and a persistent inbox

July 17, 2026 I built a free temp mail that doesn’t die in 10 minutes

Today I’m sharing TempMail.is — a free disposable email tool I built for a problem I kept hitting myself.

The problem

Most temp mails expire in about 10 minutes. If an OTP or confirmation email is delayed, the address is already gone. A lot of tools also push signup or paywalls just for a basic throwaway address.

What I built

TempMail.is is a free disposable email you can use in the browser:
• No account / no signup
• Instant inbox
• Persistent inbox (not a 10-minute trap)
• Useful for OTPs, one-time signups, and keeping your real email clean

Would love feedback

1. What would make you trust a temp mail more?
2. Which sites usually block disposable addresses for you?
3. Anything missing you’d want on day one?

Happy to answer questions. Thanks for reading.

The interesting opportunity isn't offering a disposable inbox that lasts longer—it's making temporary email reliable enough that people stop treating it as a gamble. I'd keep validating whether users return because the inbox persists or because they develop confidence that important verification emails will still be there when they need them. That's a stronger promise than simply "free temp mail."

Thanks Aryan — really sharp point.

You’re right: “lasts longer” is a feature; “I can trust the verification email will still be there” is the real promise. That’s what I’m validating — return use and OTP reliability, not just free temp mail.

Appreciate you pushing the positioning deeper.

        I'm glad it resonated.

The shift from "temporary inbox" to "reliable verification layer" is the interesting part. I had one thought about how that changes who the real customer is and what creates long-term trust, but I'd rather discuss it in the context of what you're building than reduce it to another thread comment.

What's the best email to reach you on?

Thanks! I’ve just sent it over.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts whenever you have a chance.

About

I kept running into the same frustration: temporary emails that expire in about 10 minutes, so OTPs and confirmation links often arrive too late. Other tools push signup or paywalls just to get a basic disposable address
