Tengable
Virtual workspaces for remote teams
I'm working on a demo able version of the app, with no signup, which you can launch by visiting the marketing site.
It will be anonymous, and hopefully give me feedback about how people like being in a virtual emulation of physical space.
After that, work will shift toward payment features.
When I accepted my last job at Reflektive. I told them, and myself, that Reflektive would be the last place I would ever work. Keeping true to my word, when Reflektive layed off the entire engineering department, I went full time on Tengable.
The goal is to have an MVP by august 1st.

I have been working remote for years. You miss out on a lot of social interactions. I started keeping track of all the various ways it's helpful to communicate remotely. My hypothesis is that a virtual water cooler, and physical space will help people emulate some of the office culture they are missing.
Additionally, all these chat programs allow for toooo much communication. Constant dings, and messages, and requests for meetings are not how people should communicate.
By limiting you to a physical person. You can take back some control.

I have been working remote for over 5 years, and learned a lot of lessons. Many people need a physical world where they can interact with each other. Tengable is a virtual office space, in game form.
