Terralanes
Knowledge Management System for Freight Brokerages
After a lot of back and forth, we decided to incorporate in the state of Delaware! We considered everything from an LLC to an S-corp and in different states, but ultimately, we kept things very vanilla.
Our main reason for choosing a C corp from the get go is to make Terralanes as approachable as possible to external investors in Q1 and Q2 of 2021.
We will be looking to raise capital after some initial traction when we go to market around January 1st!
One event in the summer of 2018 would trigger the initial ideas surrounding a need for a knowledge management system in the world of logistics.
Read more about what catalyzed these ideas into action in our most recent Medium post. Link below!

After showing our idea and mockups to several logistics industry executives, we have decided to form Terralanes as a company and work on it full time.
Our goal is to help freight brokerages unlock disparate and nuanced info about their customers with a simple, map-based web app.
At the moment, we are a team of two and are super excited to begin this journey with the IndieHackers Community!
