Honestly, I thought why not make an app which let's your daily walk into a competition where you capture the land on the map and compete with others, and also track your daily walks and keep it record.

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a small project called TerraRun.

It’s a simple idea:
you walk in real life, and the areas you cover become yours on a map.

I built it because most fitness apps track movement, but don’t really make it engaging. I wanted something that makes you want to go out.

It’s live now, and a few people have started using it — but I’m still figuring out what makes them come back.

Right now I’m focused on improving the core loop and understanding user behavior.

Curious to hear your thoughts:
what would make you keep using something like this?
