Testify

The launch of ProductHunt was quite productive. 1 week after, we reached quite a number, more than 130 people subscribe to Testify.

Now that we've found some people willing to work with us, it's time to move to the next step. The website is in progress, move on to the explanations with each tester and to the discussions with each creator to try to understand what they really need.

1st goal was to find 10 testers - Reached !
This triggers the next step: find app creators to validate the idea.

1st lesson learned: people don't care about your product/service... Don't expect to get a lot of attention from day one. So launch, launch, launch and try to iterate on the service to make sure everyone understands it and improve it.

Today is the day I created the landing page. Everything seems to be ready to welcome the firsts visitors. Now it's time to let the world be aware of the service.

I posted the announcement on a few slack channel and create the product page on Indie Hackers.

Let's cross finger and hope it will interest people.

I am a developer and I know the struggle it is to create an app. It does not matter if it's a web, mobile or desktop based one, the difficulties are the same.

I did create a few websites and mobile applications as side projects and in my daily work. Without talking about the technical difficulties it's hard to find users and be sure their experience is flawless, without any major bugs or misunderstandings, especially when you work solo or in a small team.
