Tether
Feedback and bug reporting tool for teams
Number of feedback submitted in a week (13)
Number of feedback submitted in a month (27)
Users gained in a week (7)
First major use case of Tether occurred this week and it went super well. The app function flawlessly and the users got a ton of value out of it.
We got our first paying customer, at $100/month!
The user is one of our clients from our development agency, making it a good first target. We are super excited to have Tether being used in the real world and look forward to the insights we will get from this first user.

While the amount of time we were able to devote to Tether fluctuated, we made it to the finish line for our MVP.
There were probably some features that could have been left out, but I think we did a good job prioritizing what was most important.
We built it on Laravel, with Livewire, Blade, and some Vue.

With some of our major client work out of the way, we had more time to seriously start working on Tether.
We began scoping our first version, talking to potential users, and strategizing on product decisions.
We were excited, as was our team, to be working on our own product instead of a client project.

After one of our clients sent us feedback via screenshots with hand-drawn annotations, we had the thought "there must be a better way".
That is when we first started to think about what we could build to help teams better manage their feedback and bug reporting process.

About
We decided to work on Tether to solve our own problem of receiving unorganized and unclear feedback from our clients at the development agency that we run.
