TextPost
Text (sms) website creation and journaling
I posted to Show HN. I received a few upvotes and got a few comments. I did get a couple hundred visitors, but only a few appeared to try the service. That's not surprising, though. Not necessarily the target audience, which is admittedly something I need to do a better job of targeting.
The best part was I received a feature request (ability to delete the last post), and I was able to quickly implement the feature and let the commenter know it was available. This felt like progress!
I was inspired by some folks talking about doing things manually and that don't scale to start. So I have included the ability to add a custom domain name to the TextPost.me service without having automation in place. I will just set this up manually for now if anyone wants it. I should be able to automate it fairly easily in the future if it becomes a hassle.

I want to be good at consistently journaling/blogging, but I am terrible at sticking with it. So I made a service that I believe has just about the lowest number of obstacles for getting started and to keep going: send a text.
I was inspired by a similar project I ran across on HN. So I built it out with some features I would like to have. I am ready to put it out there and I hope others find it useful as well. If so, I hope to keep improving it.

I am terrible at sticking to a blogging/journaling habit. I needed the simplest possible option, and this was it.
