TextToPDF
Privacy-first AI OCR and minimalist Text-to-PDF utility
I am currently building TextToPDF because the internet is filled with document tools that prioritize data harvesting over user experience. Most free PDF converters today force you to create an account or watch intrusive ads just to perform a simple task. This friction makes it difficult for students and professionals to work efficiently.
My vision for this project is to provide a minimalist workspace where utility comes first. The platform offers high accuracy AI OCR to digitize scanned pages and a clean text to PDF converter for professional formatting. The most important feature is our strict privacy policy. We do not store any user files on our servers. All processing happens in secure temporary sessions that disappear as soon as you are done.
I believe that software should be a helpful tool rather than a data collection machine. By focusing on speed and security, I hope to create a reliable alternative for anyone who needs to manage their documents without the typical corporate bloat. I am excited to share this journey with the community as I continue to refine the features based on real user feedback.

The privacy-first angle gives TextToPDF a more specific identity than simply being another document utility. Curious how it has progressed since April — what have you learned from actual users about which part of that promise matters most to them?
