Hey everyone,
Remember Textual? The stripped-down blogging platform I mentioned last week? Well, I've been busy.
I've just launched a free, browser-based markdown editor at https://textual.blog/write
For those who loved the simplicity of Textual but wanted a place to write... this is for you.
No sign-up required. No clutter. Just you and your words.
Why build another writing tool? Because sometimes you just want to write without the fuss. I couldn't find a distraction-free environment that let me focus solely on my content, so I made one.
Here's what it offers: It autosaves as you type, provides a clean, distraction-free interface, and allows for easy export of your work.
It's not trying to replace your go-to writing app. It's there when you need a quick, accessible place to jot down your thoughts in markdown.
As a solo dev, I'm relying on your feedback to shape this thing. If you're tired of overcomplicated writing tools, I'd appreciate your thoughts on this new editor. I'm not aiming to disrupt the industry here, just trying to make a solid tool for writers who value simplicity.
As always, your feedback shapes this journey. What do you think? What else would make this useful for you? If this resonates with you, check it out at https://textual.blog/write.
Looking forward to your candid feedback and seeing if this hits home with fellow writers!
