Teyla
Organise tasks by role, then turn them into a realistic dail
As a parent of two children working full-time at tech start-ups, there isn’t a moment when I don’t feel like I’m dropping the ball somewhere.
And there’s a chance others feel the same way.
So we built Teyla with the simple mission of giving focus back to people facing a similar challenge in life.
Teyla is designed with busy people in mind. Users can speak to Teyla about anything that comes to mind through the Riff feature. Teyla then uses AI to understand the tasks that need to be done and enriches them with the roles users play, along with due dates and times.
In addition to the basic function of viewing tasks chronologically, Teyla can group tasks into themed lists, such as shopping, chores and emails to send.
The feature we’re most proud of is Plan. Teyla can connect to multiple calendars and find time for users to complete their tasks. That means tasks actually get done instead of being carried over day after day.
This is only day one—there are many more features we want to build for Teyla. We look forward to receiving your feedback so we can shape Teyla together!
About
My co-founder Mario and I realised we have many roles to play everyday, as a parent, a partner, a professional, a friend, and ourselves. We built Teyla to solve this problem exactly.

The Plan feature is the part that feels most differentiated. Turning a task list into actual calendar time seems much more useful than simply making another place to collect tasks.
