Shortly after launch Molly created a big social media campaign and reached out to her personal network. This did give the site a little bit of traction. Even though the traffic wasn't huge, we did end up acquiring a few customers.
We were very excited to acquire paying customers on our first day. It's pretty rare to be met with paying customers on day 1, so this is what I'm most proud of in the entire process! I believe we were able to pull this off, because Molly and I have both ran other businesses. We were able to use our previous knowledge to ensure the product was marketable on day one.
Of course we have a long ways to go, and we will always be iterating. But I'm very happy with how our first day went!
