Nowadays I'm trying to explore marketing options for user acquisition and I've read a bit about TikTok and it's amazing userbase. Decided I will give it a shot!

The CV App (https://thecvapp.com) is a super simple application that lets people create CVs on their phone. My main revenue model was seeling templates for 1$ but recently I edited my paywall page and offered people the option to get the premium templates for free, in the condition if they share the link to their social media platforms.
Honestly I don't check if the share was legit or not, I'm happy even 50% share it legitly. As an entrepreneur you should focus on what makes you grow. I could've coded an oauth2 conneciton and get permissions to check if the share was valid, but oh god what a horrible idea would it be! And you'd limit users to share only on the platforms you envisioned and setup the oauth2 flow, currently I present them native share option and they can share anywhere. I'm keeping the result statistics though, to understand where people share to.
I'm always testing new ways, so this is just a test that took me 4 hours. If the virality works, I can invest more time and optimize the funnel :)

The CV app lets you create CVs on your mobile phone without touching PC, the smart form inside asks you the right questions and in the end you can choose from various high quality templates. Many people are thankful for the service, and average app store ratings are 4.8 to 4.9.
I don't lock people in, the output format is PDF and it can be shared to email, whatsapp, messenger, google drive.

Followed! I've been doing a tik tok experiment the past month, following the Gary Vee 2x a day method (though I did take a break for a bit, back at it now), now at 10k followers and my social media accounts/blog hits are growing, and picked up some consulting work through it!
People enjoy high value tik toks more than you think. I follow a woman who does resume/job hunting tik toks and she has 50k followers, I think?

This is what we do to make social media - free, organic social, not paid ads - our number one source of inbound marketing. We find accounts creating blog posts and videos that are good information for our customer, share them with our Rite.ly ad riding on them. 177 views, but it's a lot actually considering I've 0 followers and I didn't even put the best hashtags, like targeted as well as popular ones. But it's hard to convert them to actual users since TikTok doesn't give you many options to put links.
