It's time to make it happen
I started The Designership as a Slack channel for designers from all over the world to meet, share, learn and grow with one another.
In 2016 I decided to leave my $160,000 salary full-time role and commit to permanent freelancing as a UI/UX designer. There were 2 issues I faced as a freelancer.
- It can be lonely
- No one to bounce ideas with
That's when I decided to create a Slack group.
4 years later (2021), the Slack channel has 17,500+ members but without much activity as I was focused on building and scaling my design agency.
In 2021 I finally decided to slowly shift my focus towards SaaS and bringing a couple of my visions into reality.
This is my first step forward.
Today I launched our very first web portal for The Designership.
