The Fuck Covid Club
Lost your job due to COVID-19? Join the club!
We've officially launched on Product Hunt. I'm proud to say that this is my first product on Product Hunt (but certainly not the last).
This is a huge step for me as it encourages me to continue finishing other projects.
After five days of coding, the MVP was finished.
With this, we sent the website to some early users to get some early feedback.
Feedback was mostly positive though a few bugs were found. These bugs were addressed and The Fuck COVID Club became ready for launch.
I was laid off of work on March 16, 2020.
That day, my ex-manager approached me with an idea for a database of others that also lost their job due to COVID-19. I quickly went to work behind the keyboard (which helped get my mind off being laid off).
