I recently came across thegitcity, where GitHub activity is visualized as a city—and honestly, it stuck with me.

It made me wonder:

What if this wasn’t a city… but an entire universe?

That curiosity led me to build GitSky ✨

🌌 What is GitSky?

GitSky turns GitHub users into stars in a live, interactive 3D universe.

Instead of staring at numbers and graphs, you can actually explore developer activity—move through space, search for users, zoom into their stars, and see how they exist in this digital sky.

Each star tells a story. Together, they form constellations of curiosity, effort, and open-source impact.

• Node.js + Express + GitHub OAuth

• Supabase

• JWT-based authentication
