Scope Creep Toolkit for Freelancers
#1 If you’ve ever had a client say “it’s just a small change,” you probably know how quickly that can turn into hours of extra work.
That’s the problem I wanted to solve with The Line — Scope Creep Toolkit for Freelancers.
Freelancers often start projects with a clear scope, but once the work begins, additional requests can slowly pile up:
“Can you make one small adjustment?”
“Can we add one more page?”
“Could you also change this?”
“It shouldn’t take long, right?”
Individually, these requests seem harmless. But over the course of a project, they can mean unpaid hours, missed deadlines, frustration, and lower profits.
The Line is a practical toolkit designed to help freelancers set boundaries around project scope and deal with additional requests more professionally.
The goal isn't to make client relationships difficult or say “no” to everything. It's about making expectations clear, recognizing when a request goes beyond the original agreement, and having a professional way to handle it.
I created it for freelancers who want to spend less time dealing with scope creep and more time doing the work they're actually being paid for.
I'd love to hear from other freelancers:
What's the most ridiculous “small change” a client has ever asked you to make?

About
Scope creep is one of the biggest challenges freelancers face. A project starts with a clear agreement, but then small requests, extra revisions, and “quick changes” slowly turn into unpaid work and reduced profits.
