I've spent the last 6 months building The Ops Show on YouTube and podcasting platforms reaching over 60,000 cross-channel views and listens. It's been a crazy year and we launched the show in the midst of COVID summer. So happy to have brought these technical leaders to a positive light. We had CTOs, VPEs, and technical founders who have sold their companies to Atlassian and LinkedIn.

September 30, 2020 First Live Stream!

We used the restream plugin on open-source OBS and streamed live to Twitch and YouTube with an amazing vlogger named Mayuko who hosted our channel. It worked out well and we saw much higher engagement than our YouTube premieres. The chat was popping and that's what we want to have more of in order to fulfill our mission of empowering developers.

September 8, 2020 200 Subscribers! » The Ops Show

After our 18th episode, reworking our descriptions of each show, and starting to create highlight clips, we finally hit 200 subscribers just a quick month after hitting 150 and getting our custom domain (https://youtube.com/c/ctoai/). I think a key part, in addition to having great guests, was putting a direct subscribe button in the YouTube descriptions: https://youtube.com/c/ctoai/?sub_confirmation=1

September 4, 2020 17th episode since May!

I've been doing weekly YouTube shows interviewing top technical leaders since May 2020. I also distribute to podcast channels to technically The Ops Show is both a vlog/vidcast and podcast. Not sure the right term there yet, but so amazed that COVID + CTO.ai produced such an inspirational show and outlet for people in tech to upskill and grow.

August 12, 2020 Reached 150 subscribers!

After 15 episodes weekly during the Summer of COVID we reached 150 subscribers on our YouTube channel (the main place where we put on the show).

This is a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious exciting milestone because after 100+ subscribers you can do a vanity URL and now we have: https://www.youtube.com/c/CTOai

Now let's hit 1K!
