How I came up with a decent product idea
Extracting data from PDF especially tables is a use case everyone might have encountered in their daily lives. I struggled with the same when I had to do some reconciliation between my income tax filing and bank statements.
There are few tools available but they are either too pricey or does not work as expected.
So I decided to build something quick which would help my use cases. Once done, I realized that this can be something that can take the shape of a pretty useful MicroSaaS product.
So I got to coding where I turned a shoddy library written for internal use to a complete web application which caters to multiple use cases.
