the Social Watcher

It's been a long time since my initial update. Lots have happened and I have finally "released" the first version.

I have been using this project more like a hobby than an actual attempt to make a product. I get a lot of satisfaction working on it, even after a long day of work. Also, I have learned so much about many different areas and technologies, and I couldn't have landed my current contracting gig without the experience and knowledge I gained with it, so for both these reasons, this project is already a personal success.

The MVP is very over-engineered, especially on the backend side. The webpage design is a very rough draft, but I will be updating and improving it in the future to make it less of an eyesore. I might write something about the tech stack in a future post.

Now the hard part of the journey starts, trying to find the first clients and validate the product!
