My favorite media company, The Hustle, has a paid facebook group called Trends. While asking for feedback on growing my fledgling business, the story gained traction within the group and I received lots of great feedback. I was interviewed about how the business was started, which was published in a community highlight email, and got nearly $1000 in sales from the email blast.

April 16, 2020 Launched Website

Threw Together a website on Shopify in a few hours with images from my iPhone. Got my first order when I showed it to a friend. Experimented with a few apps to make the checkout process seamless for customers, including date picker and delivery app.

April 10, 2020 An Idea Is Born

After years of friends asking me to sell my cookies, I now have all the encouragement (and TIME) I need. Sitting around on the couch with my family on my mom's birthday eating cookies, I jokingly call the cookie The Very Best Cookie In The Whole Wide World. Website is available, shockingly I know. Done.

March 15, 2020 Ding Dong Ditching Friends

Furloughed. To keep me busy I started ding-dong-ditching friends packages of cookies. Nothing better than a surprise package of freshly baked cookies and a note from a loved one when you get put on lockdown. Friends are loving the cookies, could this be a business?
