This is a consulting assignment with a valued client and since it's an on-going project, I cannot share any specific details.

But I connected with my future client over social media.

She had posted the problem they were facing and was searching for potential solutions. They had fallen for the marketing pitch made by one of the cloud vendors and had created a POC using their AI/ML plug-in technologies. It was no longer working and they wanted someone to come and fix it. Or atleast help them figure out how to get it right.

This was our core-strength, and we are gave them a quick proof-of-concept. This established our credentials and we have an on-going engagement, where we will build & deploy a model for them in their production pipeline.

I think its always good to work as a service consultant, while trying to create a product which gets traction.

This is also because I had multiple ideas which seem to be great within my "intellectual simulator".But I had no idea whether they will get any traction in real-life

The three product ideas which were top of my list were:

1# Create a social listening tool
2# Something to do with satellite imagery
3# Create a tool for influencers

We finally got over our reluctance & register ourselves as a LLP. The country was coming out of a lockdown mode (post the Covid-related quarantines) and registering ourselves as a company gives our ambitions some legitimacy.

Since last year we were working with a few startups as a third-party consultant (on an un-official basis!) But after getting registered I felt some sort of clarity on the next steps.

If required we could always later upgrade to a Pvt Ltd. company
