thisisme

After using Indiehackers to ask other people what they thought about our landing page, we got a ton of useful feedback! Although some people said the landing page was great, and did what it had to do which is telling the user precisely what the product does at a glimpse of an eye, I decided to redo the design anyway.

I simply did not like the look of our previous landing page. It was too simple, too bland.
So I decided to go for a bit more playful design and the result is now live on https://heythisis.me/ 🎉🎉

Please do let us know what you think! Feedback is always much appreciated!!

A couple days ago I launched the first version of thisisme!

Some time ago, I really wanted to work on a fun project again.
I noticed that there were quite a lot of people that used services like linktree, to bundle all the links they need people to find in one page. Then they would have one link they could put in their bios on their social media accounts.

While I think this is a handy service, I also find it quite boring, and the links people put in their bios lack incentive to actually click them, unless people are actively searching for a specific link.

I also use Letterboxd, the social media site for film nerds, quite a lot. Letterboxd has a feature where people can enter their 4 favorite films on their profiles. I noticed that I really enjoy seeing the favorites of my friends and other people. I also really like seeing other peoples Spotify Wrapped for example as well.

I figured that for thisisme, I would combine the issues I have with services like linktree, and the features I really like from Letterboxd and Spotify.

Combining these, you get thisisme, a site with which you can create one page that contains everything about you. Your interests, your favorite movies, your favorite music, your links and more.

For the MVP I have only created the above mentioned features, but I am planning to add a ton more variety in the next couple weeks. So stay tuned!
